Young teams Relay Gala Braunstone 03-12-11

This was a really tough gala for us against some stiff opposition but true to form this year our swimmers performed brilliantly.

We notched up 11 PB’s out of the 13 events and a whole host of new times for most swimmers.

Although we didn’t achieve any 1st places the team performed very well with a good spirit and determination and this was shown with the 9/10 boys and girls who are used to swimming 25m in league gala’s but stepped up very well into swimming 50’s. This has set some good targets going forward into next year.

Well done to Eve Cook, Lois Stevenson, Harry Dalzell, Kyra Blagden, Daniella Freestone and Megan Sands for all achieving new PB’s.
