Winter league round 1. Melton   16.01.2010This was a hard draw to be against four other good teams but coming fourth in the first round was really what I expected. Well done to everyone who swam even if you had only relays. These are just as important in galas as it is a team effort and we all belong to that team.We only had a few pb’s not as many as normal six in total. Next time out I want to have at least 10.There were some really good swims from our younger swimmers along with some basic mistakes. You all must stand still on the block at the start of races and sprint the last 5m. This is where races are won and lost. My final point to remember is not to look round at the other swimmers whilst you are swimming this takes time and looses your concentration. This point should be remembered by not just our younger swimmers but older swimmers as well ! NO NAMES MENTIONED Mark.Thank you for the parental support in the gallery.
