During the 1st weekend of Novemeber, Matt Wright and Mark Crook Rumsey competed at the annual district short course swimming championship. Qualifying for this level of competition itself is a great achievement and takes a high level of commitment. Mark swam in 2 events on the Saturday (50m fly and 100m FC). He managed to qualify as 2nd reserve for the final (although unfortunatly noone pulled out) so well done Mark. Matt spent his entire weekend at Braunstone and competed in the 50 Fly and 100 FC with Mark, as well as the 50 FC, 100 Fly and 100 IM on the Sunday. Despite the long weekend, Matt achieved PB’s in both the 100 FC and 50 Fly
Well done lads, you did a great job at representing the club in this district event!
