Autumn League Gala 2 Market Harborough 12-11-11
- Well done everyone for a great team effort, this was a tough gala for us against some of the better teams in our league.
- Our team spirit and will to win was evident in all our races and there were some great swims where we were a long way behind and the swimmers dug in and picked some extra points catching and overtaking other teams.
- In a tough draw we managed to pick up two first places, so well done to Beth Tomlinson and Blake Russell. We also achieved seven second positions and 10 thirds, which shows we are not far off from the others. Well done to Jessica and Amelia who swam brilliantly in their first league gala, keep up the good work girlsJ.
- Again reinforcing that team spirit the team managed a total of 17 Pb’s which just goes to show how we are improving. With just the one DQ, which was a bit debatable a great performance overall.
- Let’s carry on this good team spirit into the next round and show everyone what Shepshed can do.
- Thanks to everyone who helps makes these events run smoothly and for the support from the swimmers and parents.
