- This was a great gala to get back into the swing of things after the summer break and tough introduction back into racing.
- As a small club up against the big fish there were some really strong performance from everyone and it was encouraging to see the swimmers putting into practice what they learn in training.
- The girls put in a credible performance and came joint 4th and this was all the more impressive as we only had one fifteen year girl so we had to give away one relay and swim up swimmers from the age below. Excellent performance well done.
- The boys team came in third and showed some great team work against some class opposition and well done to those swimmers who swam up to boost the 15& under team.
- All in all a good first outing, just a couple of little hic ups to work on but this is a good start to get us ready for the Autumn league starting in October.
- Well done to everyone and especially Beth who showed the spirit of the team pulling the 15 year old girls team through and getting the star swimmer award.
