Round Three of the Leicester Diddy League:
The last round of the Diddy league was a brilliant gala with Shepshed finishing 3rd overall! This was a great result for the team as the other teams were of a high standard. I was pleased with all our swimmers pool side as well as in the water. I know there were a lot of swimmers with a large number of events some of which they don’t normally swim. Even so everyone swam well and we only picked up 2 DQ’s which I think is the least we have had so far. So keep up the good work in training and hopefully we can get a clean sheet next time we swim.I would also like to thank the Stewards who had the gala running smoothly and the rest of the people that helped out. As well as a special mention for Jack Insley & Liam Stock who help out through out the gala finding swimmers and more importantly bring round drinks in what has to be one of the hottest pools iv ever been to. Finally congratulations to all our swimmers for a brilliant night and well done with all your swims. Ian
