I have listed all the pb’s separately as there were just so many .
To not only break records but to get a pb’s is an outstanding achievement and means that you have worked really hard over the last year and have tried your hardest at training and in competitions. Some of you had two or three pb’s in this round alone. You should all be really proud of yourselves! and especially our older swimmers who recently have had G C S E and a level exams to work hard for as well.
To all you swimmers that got a new time this means you can now go out at every swim to beat that time and maybe one day you could be a club record breaker!
There were a few dq’s but all of you swimmers have been told where you made mistakes. You have to put this behind you and try to not make the same mistakes again. A lot of these mistakes though were for things we have tried to cover a lot in training recently for example turns, touching the wall correctly at the finish, standing still on the block once the starter has said ‘take your marks’ and finally not starting to quick.
Well done to everyone who took part.
I would like to thank all of our poolside helpers who have stepped up to the mark and helped out again. Without your help we would not be able to put on such events.
Thank you to everyone who donated a raffle prize.
At last ladies a fantastic win in 4 x 1 fr adults relay race, even though I think the score still stands at 2-1 to the guys.
