Swimmer of the month 2010-2011

shepshed swimming club poolThe Swimmer of the Month award is a monthly award (you properly got that from the title) will be given to the swimmer who has stood out in training that month. This could be in terms of attendance, effort, improvements ect. Again this will be announced on this page with a write up and also on the notice board and the swimmer will be presented with a certificate at the start of the following month. (This award is only for swimmers in mini squad B upwards)

September:

July: 

  • Matthew Young  is the award winner for this month. Matthew always does as he is asked in training and tries his best in all the sessions he swims in. Well done and keep working hard!

June:

  • Daniel Thompson  is the award winner for this month. Daniel attends training regularly and always listens to the feed back given to him by coaches. He listens well and always works hard in his training sessions. A big well done Daniel!

May:

  • This Month the award goes to George Stackhouse who is a swimmers that works hard in training and always tries his best. George behaves well in training and always listens to the advice been given to him by coaches.  Well done!

April:

  • Kyra Blagden is this month award winner, she is a swimmer that works hard in training week in, week out. She always tries the best she can and pushes herself in training. Kyra always does what she is asked by coaches and is a good example to other younger swimmers.

March: 

  • This months swimmer of the month award goes to a swimmer that has recently been moved up a squad and she has been working hard in her new lane.  She always works hard in training and completes the sessions to the best of her ability, week in, week out.  This shows in her gala performances for the club, so well done to Emma Nelson!

 February:

  • The second swimmer of the month this year goes to Alex Callender! He is a swimmer that always works hard at training and trying to improve his stroke technique.  He has a great attitude at both training and galas, swims hard and  behaves well. Congratulations and well done!

January

  • The first swimmer of the month this year is going to a swimmer who has been improving in terms of his swimming for some time although recently has really improved with his training attitude and behavior. If he continues through the year as he has started then i am sure he is going to do very well! Congratulations to Kieran Martin! keep up the good work!
