To All Swimmers and Parents,

Ref: Gala Selection

Shepshed Swimming Club is a competitive club and our aim is to coach swimmers for competitive swimming. We aim to prepare swimmers not only to swim in galas for the club but also the ASA age groups and intermediary swimming galas.

Once a swimmer has been selected for a club gala we would like them to swim in it unless due to illness or another unavoidable reason they are unable to do so.

Our gala lists go on the notice board and website at least one month in advance of a gala. If a swimmer is unable to swim then please let a coach know as a matter of urgency. If a swimmer does not want to swim in galas then a coach needs to know so that the swimmer is not selected.

All approximate gala dates are circulated at the beginning of every year and are also listed on the club website.
